It is the middle of maple sugaring season here, and on a cold and sunny day last weekend, Reed and his parents went to the maple open house at Cedarvale Maple Sugar Company, a nearby farm. Despite the cold temperatures and frozen sap, which lead to a lull in the boiling of sap into syrup, we still had a great time taking a walk through the maple woods and seeing the miles of tubing that connected all the trees.
