Reed's recent favorite indoor activity involves removing many cushions and pillows off of our couch and chairs and creating tunnels, caves, and forts to play inside. Our couch is a vintage piece passed down through Reed's Daddy's family and it is older that either of Reed's parents. However, the couch still seems to have a lot of life left in it, as was evidenced by its ability to act as a prop as we recreated a scene from the Wizard of Oz (it is very windy here today) as Reed was "smushed" by the pillows with nothing but his legs and sneakers still visible! Reed, it looks like we are not in Kansas anymore!
