This past weekend, we went to Boston to visit Reed's Uncle Kevin and spend a few days exploring Beantown, toddler-style! It was the first long road trip for Reed, who proved to be a very patient traveler, content to sit in his car-seat and read books, stick stickers on anything in arm's reach, drive his toy tractors, watch Curious George on the "ipod", snack a little, drink little, talk to his Mommy and Daddy, and watch the scenery go by...5 hours after dropping off his Maggie-dog at his Grandparents' house for the weekend, we arrived in Boston. We checked into the hotel, connected with Uncle Kevin, and made our way over to the playground that was right across the street from the hotel on the Charles River. There we met Kev and Jenny, who we were happy to get to catch up with as she completed her rotations for veterinary school. Although she had to fly back to Wisconsin the next morning, we were happy to get to explore the playground with her, as well as share dinner on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning with her. Here are some photos from Saturday afternoon and evening and Sunday morning. Many more to follow...
