Finally, after weeks of diligently picking pumpkins from the patch across the road, it was time to carve! Reed selected two pumpkins from the great accumulation of pumpkins on the front porch and brought them inside. Reed decided he wanted a "Smile Cheese" and a "Sad Pumpkin", so as he and his Mom scooped out the seeds (messy and loads of fun), Reed's Daddy got to work, knife in hand. When the carving was finished and the seeds were roasting in the oven, we lit the candles and sat back and basked in the pumpkins aglow! Happy Halloween!

Jack-O'-Lanterns
Finally, after weeks of diligently picking pumpkins from the patch across the road, it was time to carve! Reed selected two pumpkins from the great accumulation of pumpkins on the front porch and brought them inside. Reed decided he wanted a "Smile Cheese" and a "Sad Pumpkin", so as he and his Mom scooped out the seeds (messy and loads of fun), Reed's Daddy got to work, knife in hand.
