Happy Birthday Party!

Reed had a very, very happy birthday celebration! His birthday morning began with a trip to the "blue playground" and then off to get balloons for his party. After a busy morning of playing and a walk and a then a long nap, Reed was ready to host his second birthday party. Reed had wanted a "train party" and that is what he got! He and his mommy "painted" railroad scenes onto brown paper to "wrap" the tables with railroads that kids could color on. The tables were stocked with crayons and train stickers. Reed had train music playing in the background and a few train whistles to blow in the foreground. Reed had train decorations and cupcake toppers with adorable train artwork (courtesy of an artist found through etsy) and he wore a "Choo choo, I'm 2!" tee-shirt that he picked out (again, thanks etsy!). Reed's daddy even set up his "new-old" train table, that was a beloved gift shared by a friend who has gotten a little too old for it, for Reed and his guests to play with. Reed's blue and red balloons were ready for his guests and so was Reed! Reed had family, including some traveling from Boston and Wisconsin, and a lot of friends to his party and they all enjoyed delicious food (the menu from DInosaur BBQ was selected by Reed and included BBQ beef brisket, cole slaw, corn bread and mac & cheese ) and fun! Here are a few photos from Reed's very special day. We will have more photos to put up soon, too.
