7.5 hours of good times at the fair.
2 goldfish won, one by Reed independently with his first ping-pong ball shot.

1 grilled cheese sandwich.
2 orders of London Broil from Butchers Boys (traditional fair food of Reed's parents).
4 cups of milk at the Rainbow Milk Bar.
1 butter sculpture to admire.
1 bowl of Dippin' Dots, the Ice Cream of the Future.
2 iced coffees.
Many other snacks and juice boxes brought from home to stay nourished and hydrated on a very warm, long day.
8 piglets with one very large sow.
Hundreds of chickens, geese, ducks, and rabbits.
2 goats' noses patted.
1 chick held by Reed.
1 red ribbon won by Reed in the 4-H children's "horse-barn" play tent.
2 real horses being given a bath.
1 wool and yarn exhibit that Reed patiently looked at with his Mommy.
1 enormous model train display with 8 trains running simultaneously that Reed excitedly looked at with his Daddy.
1 train engineer hat brought home by Reed.
7 antique tractors, which Reed could not ride on.
4 shiny new tractors, which Reed was allowed to "drive".
1 camera, who's battery died 2 hours into the fair (oh well, lots of wonderful memories).
Lots of wonderful memories of a wonderful day at the fair.
2 exhausted parents.
1 little boy who was so excited to come home and set up his new aquarium and run around like a fast train wearing his new hat.
1 very needed bath for the little boy before falling sound asleep.
1 family already looking forward to next summer and the return of the Great NYS Fair!
