Those were our two primary accomplishments on a recent visit to our zoo. Although Reed has always been very interested in the tiger exhibit, he has also has a very heathy sense of aprehension when close to real or very realistic big cats. Actually this was true until recently when Reed and his Mommy were paging through an issue of Wild Animal Baby (his favorite magazine) and he saw a picture of a tiger cub. When asked what he would do with a baby tiger, Reed promptly responded, very gleefully, that he would "tickle tiger". While we did not get that close to the real thing at the zoo, Reed was finally brave enough to sit on the tiger statue! He also has been very interested in the penguins recently and was very pleased to see them both above and below water and to discover that he was the same size as an Emperor Penguin. Reed, the King of the Zoo Jungle!
