Reed's Mommy has been on spring break this week, which has given her and Reed's Daddy a little time to do some spring cleaning, both inside and out. One outside task that needs to be completed on a very regular basis is mowing our lawn. Despite our best efforts to minimize lawn space by putting in many garden beds, we still have a decent amount of lawn to maintain and we do so with our handy reel-mower, which is safe, peaceful and quiet, and only requires the addition of fuel in the form of a few extra calories for the pusher (ice cream, anyone?). Thanks to some friends from our CSA, Reed inherited his own push mower and is learning to "mow" the grass with it, too. What a helper!
