Cheers!

As you may have noticed, there has been a bit of a lapse in posting updated photos and news to the blog. Sadly our old camera needed to be retired after Reed disassembled the lens cover and then his Mommy dropped it on the cement floor of a milking parlor (worth it though because Reed got to meet a calf who was just born). No photos of the meeting though (see previous sentence). However, we now have a new, working camera, very similar to our old one, and we should be back in the habit of regular posting and getting caught up with the last few weeks.

Reed's been doing so much recently. After his 15 month old check up, which went very well, and a brief recovery from the round of vaccinations that he received at that appointment (MMR, chicken pox), Reed has been keeping so busy. We have taken trips to the zoo with Grandma Floris and Grandpa Bob, spent loads of time outside on his sled and playing in the snow (he thinks snow angels are about the silliest thing he has ever seen his Mommy do), spending lots of warm days indoors with Grammy and with his Daddy, visiting with Cameron, watching his Daddy and Grandpa start to remodel the master bathroom (tools are so interesting), and traveling to visit with our friends the Schaders at Wake Robin Farm, makers of Reed's favorite "wo-wert". Reed has been walking more, talking up a storm, and generally being a delight. Here are some photos of him at lunch time a few days ago performing one of his favorite routines. After washing our hands and sitting down for a meal, we say Grace and then Reed, his Mommy and his Daddy then say "cheers" and clink our glasses before drinking. Reedy loves this and is very insistent that anyone at our table participate. In these shots, he is toasting and even "double-fisting" two sippy cups at once!
