"Moh"

Reed's communication skills have been blossoming and he is finally starting to use some of the signing that his Mommy, thanks to years as an early intervention therapist, compulsively pairs with what she says.  Reed began signing for "more" (bringing his two hands together repeatedly in front of his body) a few weeks ago, but it was right around when he also began clapping, so the distinction between the two was not always clear.  Now that he is pairing it with a "moh" sound, and using it at mealtime to ask for food, there is no mistaking his requests.  At first he began using it primarily for "puffs" but last night he also began using it to ask for ice cream (yes, our pediatrician said he could have it!).  Here is a short video of him asking for "moh" at dinner time!  Later we'll post a video and pictures of last night's ice cream treat in Skaneateles.  Now, if he'd  only begin to sign "all done" instead of throwing his food off the side of the high chair for Maggie..
