Charlie Comes to Visit!

Despite the saying "lazy days of summer", Reed's first few weeks of summer home with his Mommy have been anything but lazy.  We've been very busy with the farm and CSA-pick-ups, which have helped Reed joyously perfect his waving accompanied by "bye", whether the recipient is coming or going.  Reed has also been spending time playing at his Grandma and Grandpa's house while his Mommy takes yoga classes.  While there, Reed's gotten to experience the pleasure of playground visits, his first ride down a slide, chasing geese, watching construction trucks, and blowing bubbles through a straw into a cup (thanks, Grandma).  We've also hosted his Babybe yoga playgroup, visited friends, and gone for many walks.  And last week Reed had his first sleep-over!

Reed's Mommy's good friends from her Cornell days, Erika and Mike, came to visit from Burlington.  They brought their son, Charlie, who is a year-old.  Reed and Charlie became quick buddies, bonding over a shared love of cardboard boxes, plastic cups, and the ball pit, of course.  Reed is really looking forward to visiting Charlie and all their other VT friends on their "turf" next winter!
