Reed's first Christmas was a great celebration. We began on Christmas Eve with a visit to Cousin Amy, Jim, Trevor, Grady and Shawna's house, where a Persse family tradition of gathering on Christmas Eve was held. Reed met many of his cousins, including 1-year old Olivia, and great aunts and uncles that night. We also learned of the wonderful news that Cousin Ranney is pregnant and expecting in July! Another playmate for Reed!
Christmas morning, Reed woke up to find that Santa had stuffed his stocking with a soft first soccer ball (he loves to kick!), some toy trucks, and someone had knit matching hats for Reed and his Daddy! After relaxing at home, Reed and his Mommy, Daddy, and Maggie went to Grandma Floris and Grandpa Bob's house for the day. Uncle Kevin was there and presented Reed with a beautiful toy chest that he had made for his nephew. What a special gift! Reed also got to meet his great Aunt Kathy, from England, and got to share his first Christmas with both sets of his grandparents, his Uncle Kevin, Aunt Beth, Great-Aunt Kathy, and his Great-Grandparents Barb and Dick. We all shared a delicious meal and enjoyed spending the holiday together.
