If you're Reed, your favorite things include black and white contrast, bright colors, patterns, sunlight, a breeze, a ride in your infant car seat, and of course, Daddy and Mommy. Reed enjoyed an afternoon full of his favorite things on Wednesday when we took a short road trip to Cazenovia for lunch at Circa (he slept through the entire meal) and then a brief walk at the Stone Quarry Art Park. Daddy had been in the area earlier in the week and noticed an installation that he thought Reed would love. When we returned as a family, we saw that Daddy's intuition was right! The installation was made of old blackened lampposts, leaning into each other creating a tunnel to walk through. There were bright yellow fabric banners fluttering in the wind on each post. Once Reed noticed the contrast and motion, he was fascinated. What a cultured little boy! :)
