Pediatrician Visits

Reed had his first visit with his pediatrician on Tuesday September 30th.  The doctor gave him a clean bill of health and was pleased that he was maintaining his weight.  The next scheduled appt. was to be the following Tuesday, but Mommy overreacted to some hiccups and we were back at the pediatricians on Thursday.  The nurse we saw was very reassuring and kind to Reed's Mommy (not the first new parent to overreact) and we also found out that he had gained a few more ounces!  At the visit the following Tuesday, we found out that Reed has gained almost a pound since coming home from the hospital (up to 5 lbs., 10.5 oz.), which we are pleased but not surprised given the voracious nature of his appetite.  Next appt. is scheduled for early December.
